The University of Glasgow is pleased to announce a major funding opportunity for postgraduate students.

The University has been awarded funding to support postgraduate taught places in specific programmes listed below. These places are available for entry in September 2014 and are awarded on a competitive basis. Candidates must have an offer of a place on the programme and submit a personal statement in order to be considered for a place.

The SFC funding covers tuition fees. You may also wish to investigate additional living costs funding options which are available to students undertaking postgraduate taught study. See: Scholarships and fees.

‘Being chosen for the SFC was a tremendous relief for my family and me. With the high costs of education today, it really allowed me to focus on my studies without the worry of repaying debt afterwards. Receiving this prestigious award by the University was an honour that I am very proud of. The MSc Real Estate programme bridges the gap between undergraduate studies and the workforce. The skills I have obtained in this programme, specifically the financial based courses such as Real Estate Valuation & Appraisal, Finance & Investment, Advanced Real Estate Valuation & Appraisal, and Development Economics provided me with solid analytical skills that can be used after graduation. After completion of the programme, I hope to work as a financial analyst for an asset management or real estate investment company. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the University of Glasgow and I highly recommend choosing to study at one of the world’s oldest institutions for higher learning.’
