Entre os dias 28 e 30 de Janeiro, irá realiza-se, no Porto, o Congresso Internacional BOBCATSS 2009, cujo tema é “Challenges for the New information Professional”.
“Challenges for the New information Professional” é o tema alavanca do BOBCATSSS 2009 que se subdivide em vários subtemas: Interdisciplinarity of Information Science; Information Professional and Information Management; The current impact of the new technologies in the life of the Information Professional; The rise and fall of physical libraries and archives; Information Literacy; eLibraries & eArchives e Librarian 2.0.
O encontro decorrerá nas Faculdades de Engenharia (dia 28 e dia 30) e de Letras (dia 29) da Universidade do Porto e terá como língua oficial o inglês .
